The track is 3.12 km in length to be ran on obstacle course.This event is also known as the celebration chase. The event title also represents the celebration of Queen mother's 80th birthday in 1980. This event was sponsored by Bet365.
β’ Stayer's Hurdle ( held on day 3) :
This chase is a grade 1 National hunt hurdle race held at the new course in Cheltenham, it has 12 hurdles, the horse of age 4 or above can participate in it. It is sponsored by paddy power. This chase is a 4.86km in length to be ran on obstacle course.
β’ The Gold Cup ( held on day 4) :
The Cheltenham Gold cup is an event for which every jockey and trainer wants to participate and win. It is a National hunt horse race run on the new course in Cheltenham Racecourse in England which is about 5.29 km in length and consists of 22 fences on the track. The horse of age 5 or above can participate in it. This is the main event for which most of the punters are waiting to bit on. This event is also refered to as the blue-ribband of jump racing.
